"Brunelleschi" comes to TFC from Juventus where his contract expired in July 2022. He started his career with Fiorentina in Serie A where he passed through the youth system. After signing for the first team, he spent a season on loan at Serie B Crotone before returning to Fiorentina and making 72 appearances. In 2017 he was signed by Juventus for 40m Euros on a 5 year deal and made 134 appearances for the Bianconeri.
He joins TFC as a DP on a four year contract that sees Alejandro Pozuelo move to Inter Miami to make space.
He is a current Italian international with 39 caps and 6 goals for the Azzurri. He competed in Euro 2016 and in Euro 2020 (held in 2021 due to COVID) where he scored the Cup winning penalty against England at Wembley Stadium.
