Milestones

After a disappointing draw in DC last weekend TFC got back to winning ways with a second half demolition of Portland.

A lot is written on a weekly basis about TFCs marquee players Michael Bradley, Jozy Altidore and Seba Giovinco and rightly so, but this game showcased the talents and importance of some of the supporting cast who perhaps dont get enough of the plaudits they deserve.

All the way through this team there are players performing well. Alex Bono has gone from bomb scare to steady hands over the space of 35 games. Chris Mavinga is proving to be as important at the back as Victor Vazquez is in supporting the attack, and both Justin Morrow who scored two goals in this game and Marky Delgado who got another give us width and pace down the flanks.

When I think back to the personnel we have seen over the last 10 years and what we see now, it makes the current season all the sweeter. #COYR
