Bob Bradley became TFC's headcoach at the end of a disastrous COVID-affected 2021 season that saw the club miss the playoffs and lose out in the Canadian Championship to Montreal.

Bradley is an extremely experienced coach who counts the US national team (2006-2011) and the Egyptian national team (2011-2013) as well as MLS teams Chicago, NY Metrostars, Chivas USA, and LAFC in his impressive resume. He has also coached in Europe with Stabæk, Le Havre and Swansea City.

He has won the MLS Cup with Chicago as well as two Open Cups, and most recently won the supporters Shield with LAFC and finished runner-up in the Concacaf Champions League in 2019. Internationally, he won the Gold Cup with the USA in 2007 and finished as runner-up in 2009 and 2011. He has been named MLS coach of the year 3 times in his career, in 1998, 2006 and most recently in 2019.

He is also of course, father to TFC captain and stalwart, Michael Bradley.
